Activities - Class Assembly

 

Grade VI celebrates Gratitude Day

Grade VI took their opportunity of class assembly to say thank you all in the school. They offered Guru Dakshina to the Father Manager, Father Principal, Father Vice Principal and Thomas Mani Sir and respected them with ponnaada. The teachers swayed to the lovely song of gratitude by the students.


Grades 3 and 4 celebrate Republic Day

The core reason behind the formation of Constitution of India after Indian Independence was the heart of Grade III & IV class assembly. They showcased it through a skit during the celebration of Republic Day in the school. Songs and dances that aroused patriotism in all were also the part of assembly. 


Grade V celebrate Army Day

Dressed as soldiers, the students of Grade V took their assembly as a medium to honour the valiant Indian Soldiers. Their struggles and sacrifices to protect Mother India was presented through a musical presentation instilling in the audience a feeling of pride and respect for the heroes.

The students were informed about the different ranks in the Indian Army and medals that are awarded to the soldiers.

The various patriotic songs sung and played during the assembly inspired the audience and their eyes were moist in reverence for the Indian Army.


Grade VII

Grade VII students took their opportunity of conducting assembly to celebrate 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. The assembly was on 3 October 2019. Glimpses of Gandhis life was shown through various acts. 

A portrait of Gandhiji was presented by CNIte Niranjana and the school principal paid tribute by offering flowers. 
Dance and music was also a part of this assembly. 


Grade XI

On 2 September 2019 Grade XI presented their assembly highlighting the effects of social media. They tackled the sensitive topics brilliantly bringing out a beautiful lesson There are always going to be people on the internet who are going to make one fall but its important to be able to stand back again


Grade VIII

 

The students of Grade VIII organised an assembly on 18 July 2019, showcasing a range of talents. The theme of respect for girls was highlighted through a skit titled ‘The Parallels of a Girl’s Life’ penned by CNIte Akshay Deepak.M. It portrayed that respect for girls is essential for social harmony. A scintillating dance  followed by group song performances thrilled the audience.


Grade IX

Grade IX organized the assembly on 11th July 2019. Highlights included a song by nine cowboys and a dance well choreographed by CNIte Sitara. A skit written by CNIte Aparna  based on World Population day and CNIte Emilys German speech gave the assembly a unique twist.

Grade IX


Grade X

Grade X Assembly, held on 27 June 2019, drew the attention towards the all Co curricular activities in the school. The students successfully presented a rock band with instruments played live. Dance programme choreographed by the students themselves showcased the talents of many.

26 June is observed as the International Day against Drug Abuse and the students took the opportunity to showcase a skit on the drug abuse which spread awareness of the potential danger that anybody could confront.


Grade XII

On  20 July 2019, our school was treated to a marvelous assembly by Grade XII. The school was first led in prayer by the Boys Choir, followed by the hoisting of the flag. After the formal function came the cultural events. This included a skit on "The Phases of Life" which musically and theatrically outlined the progression of a persons life.  Moments like childhood, teenage, college life, marriage, etc. were depicted, and the skit made the audience both laugh and cry. The assembly ended with the vote of thanks and the national anthem.
