Activities - Events 2021-22

 

Vaccination Drive-14 January & 11 February,2022

CNIS organised a vaccination drive in association with KIMSHEALTH for students between 15 and 18 years of age. The students were given Covaxin first and second shots on 14 January and 11 February 2022 respectively through the camp organized at CNIS Kowdiar Campus.


Reading Programme

An online reading program was conducted during the months of October, November and December for the students of KG to Grade 8. The program consisted of live sessions of reading activity along with role plays, reviews, news reporting, story recreations and many such other engaging activities.


Thrill Cnis

Thrill CNIS, the School’s exclusive cultural potpourri, continued this year too with the spectacular display of talents by CNItes. The competitions were held online during the months of July, August and September and included both live and recorded events.


enReach-21 September 2021

enREACH, an initiative under the Enrichment Programs by CNIS organized its first event on 21st September 2021. The theme of the event was ‘Pursuit of Excellence’, which was an interactive session for students of Grades 10, 11 and 12. Mr. Jibrael Jos, Former Assistant Professor of Christ University was the Resource person


Seed:Workshop on KAMI-10 Sept,2021

A workshop on KAMI, an online app for correcting assignments and answer scripts was conducted for the CNIS Staff on 10 September 2021. The session was handled by Dr. Aswathy Mathew, Faculty in Humanities.


Talents Day-6 September, 2021

An exhilarating event was conducted on the 6th of September 2021. This is the day on which our students exchange roles with our teachers and the Leadership Team. It was a highly successful event and CNIte Gabriela Brigita Fernandez of Grade 11 was awarded the Overall Best Student teacher for the year 2021.


Teachers Day-5 September 2021

5th September 2021 was an exciting day for the CNIS Family. Teacher’s Day was welcomed with a surprise gratitude video coordinated by the Student Council. Principal Fr. Thomas Chennattusserry appreciated the dedication and commitment of the teaching faculty of CNIS. He also appreciated the fact that CNIS Teacher always prioritised the needs and future of our children. Wishing all the teachers a bright and blessed future!


Merit Day- 5 August, 2021

CNIS organised a Merit Day event on 5th August 2021 to felicitate the Toppers and Merit holders of Cambridge March 2021 Exams. It was truly a joyous and proud event.


Career Guidance-24 July,2021

CNIS CAREER GUIDANCE CELL organized a highly informative and enriching career counselling webinar for the students and parents of Grades IX, X, XI and XII on 24th July 2021. The resource person for the session was Mr. Arun Daniel, an eminent Career Counsellor and AZURE Specialist with Microsoft USA. Mr. Arun steered the students to identify their interests and talents and counselled them to plan multiple activities during their vacations to hone their skills


Investiture Ceremony- 5 July,2021

On 5th July 2021 the elected and selected School Council Members were invested to their positions. The year saw the ride of four more prestigious positions in CNIS, the Middle and Junior School Head Boy and Head Girl. The newly invested School Leader is CNIte Adithyan S Neelamana and Deputy School Leader is CNIte Ashvath B.


CNIS Election -15th June,2021

The much-awaited CNIS election 2021-22 was held on the 15th of June 2021 after a storm of campaigning by the School leader and Deputy School leader candidates. CNIS had for the first time, live-in-class campaigning. The campaigns left the voters convinced about their choices and the zealous about of the school year and its upcoming events.


Seed -28 May ,2021

A pre-academic year orientation workshop was organised by Christ Nagar International School for its teaching faculty as part of its Skill Enhancement and Employee Development (SEED) program on 28th May 2021. The resource person of the workshop was Mr. Jibrael Jose, formerly Associate Professor of Christ University, Bangalore. The theme of the workshop was ‘Leadership and Creativity for Online teaching’.
