Activities - Class Assembly 2020-21

 

Grade 5

Grade V learners selected their Class video’s theme as A Tribute to the All-time Heroes. Heroes are admired by all of us, for their brave deeds and righteous qualities. Our goal was to inspire our fellow CNItes to make brave choices as our heroes did. Grade V learners also took this opportunity to thank our heroes for their noble achievements. Students gave their whole-hearted support to make this assembly a great success. Every student took his/ her part with team spirit and made it well. Everyone who had participated in the assembly brought life to it. Learners made the assembly bright by including: • News headlines • Speech about heroes • Cultural activities • Zoom meeting session which revealed the importance of Nobel Prize Class 5 learners made the assembly brilliant with the support of our dear parents and our respected teachers. The video was released on 12 February 2020.


Grades 3 & 4

Students of Grades III & IV presented a video with a message of committed towards one’s health.

4 February marked as World Cancer Day had Dr. Roshni Syam , Associate Professor, RCC, Trivandrum making us aware about the disease.

The kids through various ways conveyed the importance of healthy eating, yoga and exercise in our daily routine for staying healthy.


Grade 6

Republic Day

The Students of Grade VI of showcased their high spirits with a special video.

The video was a blend of soulful prayer, stimulating thoughts, inspirational quotes, patriotic song and portrayal of freedom fighters arousing passion and pride for our motherland.

The Guest Speaker, Rev. Fr.  Jose Chennattusserry CMI, Pro Vice Chancellor Christ University, Bangalore gave a poignant Republic Day message. Reverend Father impressed upon the students of this nation to have a positive outlook and face every challenge with faith and hope.


Grade 9

The students of Grade IX with the support of their teachers premiered a video on October 24, 2020. The themes selected were the United Nations Day and highlighting the school’s Girls Guild. School Principal, Rev. Fr. Thomas Chennattusserry CMI with his gracious presence in the video encouraged CNItes to make the best use of their time. The highlight of the video was the Model United Nations, a simulation of the proceedings of a UN council, where Grade A video from Grade IX IX students represented various countries and delivered powerful speeches on the Economic Impact of COVID-19, giving the audience a deeper look into the global impact of the pandemic. The latter half of the video featured CNIte Nandini Nair, the Girls Representative who highlighted the importance of gender equality, pushing both boys and girls to strive for equal representation in society. Speeches on strong women were presented by the students.


Grade 11

With the guidance of the teachers a motivating video was brought out by the students of Grade XI on 8 October 2020. It was also to pay homage to the Father of our Nation. The life of Gandhi was presented by CNIte Rohit as CNIte Sarah brought out the portrait of Mahatma through her pencil drawing skill. The awareness of sound mental A video from Grade XI health and tips for it also was presented through the video. The message of working together for a mentally healthy society was given out too. It was an honour for all at CNIS to have Rev. Fr. Paul Mangad CMI, Manager, Christ Nagar Group of Schools featured in the video with a few inspiring words.
