Activities - Global School Partnership

Indo German Student Exchange 2026

A group of 22 students, accompanied by the School Principal and a staff member, visited St. Thomas Gymnasium, Wettenhausen, Germany, as part of a Student Exchange Programme. The visit lasted for 13 days and provided students with a valuable opportunity to experience a different culture and education system. During their stay, the students attended classes, interacted with their German counterparts, and participated in various cultural and educational activities. The programme helped enhance their communication skills, confidence, independence, and global awareness. It also fostered cultural understanding, teamwork, and lasting international friendships. The visit was a rewarding learning experience that broadened the students perspectives and strengthened the bond between the two schools.

Indo- German Student Exchange 2024

The vibrant corridors of our school were transformed into a cultural melting pot when a group of 20 enthusiastic German students and their dedicated teachers and Principal arrived as part of the ongoing Cultural Exchange Programme between Christ Nagar International School, Trivandrum, and St.-Thomas-Gymnasium Wettenhausen, Germany. They were with us from 28 October to 8 November. This enriching experience fostered cross-cultural understanding, strengthened international bonds and left an indelible mark on our school community.

Indo-Swiss Student Exchange Programme

The Swiss couple, Stephan and Gisela Jenstch and their son, Odilo Jenstch visited Christ Nagar International School on 13 August 2019. They were part of the pilot group of St.Michael School in Fribourg, Switzerland, our partner in the Indo-Swiss Student Exchange Programme of 2019-20. CNIS organised a felicitation meeting for the trio, in which they exchanged information regarding the Swiss Culture and Education System, with the CNItes of Grades X, XI & XII.  Deputy School Leader Adithyan S Neelamana introduced the three visitors to the audience and they were traditionally welcomed with flower garlands. The Principal, Rev. Fr. Thomas Chennattusserry CMI gave them gifts to express our appreciation for their presence.
