Activities - Class Assembly

 

Grade 8 assembly & Girls Guild Inauguration

The school assembly for the day was conducted by the students of Grades 8 on 7 August 2025, on the theme "Girls’ Guild Inauguration." The assembly aimed to celebrating the inauguration of girls’ Guild and recognizing the importance of empowering and supporting our female peers.The programme began with welcoming the Chief Guest Dr. Meenakshy Ramachandran S and other dignitaries followed by introduction to the theme by CNIte Raeka and Karthik. Chief Guest congratulated the students and the class teachers for their excellent coordination and meaningful presentation. The assembly served as a powerful reminder of the responsibility we all share in creating a better world for children.


Grade 9 Assembly & CCA & Charity Inauguration

A lovely theme-related thought for the day kicked off the assembly. Following that, the school anthem, prayer song, flag hoisting, and school prayer were performed.The necessity of physical activity for a healthy body and active mind was  also highlighted in the skit. Additionally, it demonstrated the need of aiding  those in need, which further emphasized charitable work. The charity campaign was also launched as a scene in the skit and Fr. Principal, the teachers and prefects from each class, and a representative  from the non-teaching staff community contributed for the charity.


Grade 10 Assembly & Merit Day

The school assembly for the day was conducted by the students of Grades 10 on 12 June 2025, on the theme "World Day Against Child Labour." The assembly aimed to raise awareness about the harsh realities of child labour and to spread a message of compassion and responsibility among students. Fr. Principal, in his concluding speech, congratulated the students and the class teachers for their excellent coordination and meaningful presentation. The assembly served as a powerful reminder of the responsibility we all share in creating a better world for children.


School Reopening Day

The new academic year 2025–26 at Christ Nagar International School was formally inaugurated with a meaningful Reopening Day Ceremony on Thursday, 05 June 2025. Sri. Kadakampally Surendran, Hon’ble MLA and Former Minister for Co-operation, Tourism & Devaswom was the guest of honour and Smt. Anu Kumari IAS, District Collector, Thiruvananthapuram was the chief guest for the event. Rev. Fr. Paul Mangad CMI, Manager, Christ Nagar Group of Schools and Rev. Fr. Robin Pathinarilchira CMI, Vice Principal & Bursar were the other special guests on the event. The Keynote Address was delivered by Sri. Kadakampally Surendran, Hon’ble MLA and Former Minister for Co-operation, Tourism & Devaswom. He emphasized the urgent issue of rising drug abuse among youth in Kerala, warning students about the dangers and long-term consequences. He urged them to stay focused, informed, and strong in their choices. After the Ceremonial Planting of Saplings by the invited guests, the audience warmly welcomed the arrival of Smt. Anu Kumari IAS, District Collector, Thiruvananthapuram, who joined the ceremony around 9:10 AM. In her Inaugural Address, she not only echoed the concern on increasing drug abuse but also highlighted the need to reduce digital dependence among students. She encouraged them to reconnect with nature, family, and real-life experiences instead of spending excessive time online.
